Heading home from work during a thunderstorm Carl Adams car is struck by lightning. He survives, then can’t sleep. A government agent comes into his work, the next days saying she wants a meeting with him. At the meeting Carl meets three other lightning strike victims who were not harmed. In fact they showed increased ability either intellectually or other ways. The government agency wants Carl and the others help to help stop the violent storms by what would be suicide missions. Being they have been struck and survived the agency feels they will be fine. Meanwhile, a alien conspiracy looms large, could it be aliens out for vengeance over one of their own killed? Can Carl and the others save the planet for doomsday storms?
